With over three decades of international nonprofit management experience, much of Doug's career has been spent living and working overseas, assisting those in need throughout Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Balkans. While stationed in Albania, Doug facilitated the networking of over eighty international organizations during the Kosovo refugee crisis.
Doug is the founder of Global Business Assist (now Nehemiah Gateway USA) and served as president of two additional nonprofits, and presently works for the Texas-based organization, Hope for the Hungry. These groups work to create sustainable, forward-thinking solutions for majority world problems. Doug has also served on the board of directors of eight nonprofit corporations.
Doug is an educator, minister, experienced speaker, Rotarian, and extensive traveler. Doug and his wife, Michelle, make their stateside home in the Rocky Mountains near Estes Park, Colorado. Doug and Michelle have a three adult children.
